Pierce the Night
FOREVER HOME FOUND
Pierce the night was inspired at about 2am on Tuesday in February. My husband and I often sleep with the outside door of our bedroom slightly ajar even in the depths of winter. One bright moonlit night we were woken by an incredible sound. Groggily, we eventually realised there must be wolves howling across the river. The sound grew and intensified and continued for hours. Chris even got a sound clip of it. There's nothing so haunting as a pack of wolves calling each other. We lay there awake drinking up the experience of it. This 24x36" framed original oil painting is only a fraction of the awe we felt that night.
